Hey everyone!
We’re still going strong…with 36 days left on this campaign. I can’t believe I messed up and made this Kickstarter that long...oh well.
Well since we have some time I’ve added a stretch goal. If we reach $2,300 each backer will get a American Crusader logo sticker!
We got a prototype American Crusader figure in hand and as promised here are some images him in the Fresh Monkey Fiction workshop.
He still needs some work, he’s missing his cape and forehead logo, and we need to make the chest logo look better, but I thought it would be fun to show him with some of the other heroes in the Amazing Heroes Retroverse collection.
As far as the next figure, the clear winner was Captain Future. So we’ll be doing him next. I might try an experiment and do the crowed funding on the Fresh Monkey website with pre-orders vs going the Kickstarter route…we’ll see.
Again thanks for backing everyone, I’m glad we can keep growing the Amazing Heroes Retroverse collection.

Great job everyone. We funded the American Crusader figure!
I'm super excited we're adding him to the Amazing Heroes Retroverse Collection! As I mentioned I'll have a factory sample in hand next week, so I'll post some more images at that point.

As this was suppose to be a 2 week campaign and I screwed up and made it 44 days, we have some time to discuss the next figure. These are the next figures I have in the que.
Please make a comment below and let me know which one we should do next. I'll either make it a stretch goal on this campaign or make it the next quarterly figure. The Puzzler and Chrometurion would be the 1st villains in the line. If we do Puzzler I should be able to to offer the Puzzler's Henchmen (which will include 2 interchangeable heads) at the same time as well. If we do Chrometurion we'll offer an "add on" kit that includes an accessory and card back that would transform into another character that wanders the stars.
Also, we seem pretty split on orders for both Modern and Golden Age packaging...do you all have preference? I'm planning on keeping the Golden Age packaging as exclusives to the Kickstarter campaigns. Again comment below.

Hey Everyone!
Thanks for supporting the next Amazing Heroes Retroverse figure. As I mentioned in the campaign we're trying something new here, a quarterly Kickstarter to expand our Amazing Heroes Retroverse collection. We might do more than that, but we'll see how this one goes first. You've noticed that the price is higher than our original figures. We had to produce lower numbers (only 100 pcs) with these quarterly releases so that's the trade off. It's the only way I could make the mechanics work. If we can average about 30-50 backers for these campaigns we should be able to produce a minimum of 4 new figures each year.
I did want to share a quick test shot from the factory.
As you can see it's an early look at the figure, it's still needs work and missing stuff like the forehead logo and cape, but I thought it would be fun to share. I'll have this in hand in about a week, so more pics at that time.
Oh also you'll notice the original intent was for this campaign to be 14 days, but I totally screwed up and made it 44 days. You can't adjust duration post launch, not a huge deal, maybe we'll get to some stretch goals in that time. Would you be interested in adding things like more trading cards or stickers...or even another figure? Let me know in the comments below.
